Biography :
Rick Musick has almost 40 years of experience in the auction and real estate business, recognized for his innovation and forward-thinking approach. He is an award-winning auctioneer and was inducted into the Idaho Association of Professional Auctioneers' Hall of Fame in 2008. Rick is the only auctioneer to have won the Idaho State Auctioneer Championship twice and has also earned titles as Northwest Champion Auctioneer and second runner-up in the International Bid Calling Championship. Remarkably, he is one of the few auctioneers in the nation who can conduct auctions simultaneously in both Spanish and English.
In 2010, Rick partnered with Potlatch Land to offer premier recreational properties in North Central Idaho. His deep connection to the land, having grown up on a farm and ranch in the area, fuels his passion for linking people with recreational land opportunities. Representing Potlatch and collaborating with UC Hunting Properties has enabled him to highlight expansive properties of over 100 acres.
Rick’s love for the land was passed down from his father and grandfather, both ranchers and farmers on the Camas Prairie. In his downtime, he breeds and raises full-blooded Angus cattle on his 285-acre ranch between Grangeville and Cottonwood. July finds him harvesting hay or attending the Border Days Festival and Rodeo in Grangeville.
Embracing adventure, Rick recently purchased a Polaris Ranger UTV with snow tracks to ensure clients can comfortably view properties in any weather, making land tours a seamless experience year-round.
